As a Senior Vice President for Lincoln Harris, Adam Colvin is the Platform Director for Bank of America’s Transactions and Investments division, overseeing the Bank’s real estate portfolio in North and South Carolina. In addition to this role, he also concentrates on landlord leasing and new development in the Carolinas. Mr. Colvin’s landlord leasing and development experience includes Bank of America Corporate Center, Fifth Third Center, Hearst Tower, and Transamerica Square in Charlotte’s CBD, as well as Morehead Square and American City Building in Midtown, and Claude Freeman in the University submarket.
During the last few years, Mr. Colvin has also been responsible for several client service-related projects to include market evaluations of 40 restaurant sites in North Carolina and Virginia for Babcock & Brown, an advisory study and analysis on mixed use village and multi-family housing for the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, a 2-acre land acquisition in uptown Charlotte, and the leasing and development of a 90,000 SF facility for Wachovia Mortgage Corporation in Wilmington, NC. His tenant representation experience includes over 1.5 million SF in the past 15 years.
Prior to his current position, Mr. Colvin’s career began at Corporex Companies, a commercial real estate development, capital investment and property management firm headquartered in Cincinnati. In 1993, Mr. Colvin joined Lincoln Property Company where he worked as a leasing agent in Charlotte, and later opened and operated Lincoln’s Denver, Colorado office. In 1999, Lincoln Property Company and The Harris Group of Charlotte merged to form Lincoln Harris.
Mr. Colvin has also been instrumental in leading company initiatives such as U.S. Green Building Council, Charlotte Region Commercial Board Realtors, and CoreNet Global. Additionally, Mr. Colvin has spearheaded the company’s involvement with Urban Land Institute, the preeminent organization providing leadership in the responsible use of land and in creating and sustaining thriving communities worldwide, and serves on the board of ULI’s Responsible Property Investment Council.
Education and Affiliations
Mr. Colvin has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Marketing and Real Estate from the University of Cincinnati. Mr. Colvin is a licensed real estate broker in North Carolina and South Carolina.
