Experience
Mr. Early has 26 years of experience in Charlotte’s Commercial Real Estate Industry. Prior to joining Lincoln Harris, Mr. Early was the Vice President of Acquisitions and Development for Highwoods Properties for 3 years, and the Vice President for Hesta Properties for 4 years. He started his career at The Bissell Companies where he and Johnny Harris developed and leased numerous projects in Charlotte, including Gateway Center on West Trade Street.
With a primary focus most recently on representing office tenants, Mr. Early has worked with some of the most high-profile companies in Charlotte including Alston & Bird, Carolinas Healthcare Systems, Piedmont Natural Gas, Capital South Partners and Bradley Arant Boult Cummings. Mr. Early has been recognized by the Charlotte Region Commercial Board of Realtors (CRCBR) as one of the top commercial office brokers in Charlotte for multiple years.
Mr. Early handled in excess of 4 million square feet and a transaction volume of approximately $1 billion dollars.
Education and Affiliations
Mr. Early has a Bachelor degree in Business from Virginia Tech. He later went on to earn his Masters in Real Estate Finance at the University of Alabama in 1984.
Over the years, Mr. Early has been involved with various civic and community boards, including The Charlotte City Club, where he previously served as president, the Charlotte Chamber of Commerce, United Way and the Meineke Car Care Bowl. He is the Director and Founder of The Scottish Bank/NCBT and also devotes a number of hours each year to various children’s charities, including Alexander Youth Network and Fight Night for Kids. Mr. Early is the local Chairman for “The Campaign for VA. Tech. - Invent the Future” and recently joined the Board of Trustees for the Charlotte Museum of History.
Mr. Early holds a real estate brokers license for the state of North Carolina.
