Position Title:Lead Mobile Engineer

Position Description:
Responsible for performing HVAC, plumbing, carpentry and minor electrical repair and maintenance services, Includes coordinating and supervising facility repair and maintenance activities as performed by the Mobile Engineers in multiple locations within a geographic area.
Position Duties:
• Perform assignments in the installation, repair, alteration and maintenance facility systems, including HVAC, carpentry, plumbing and minor electrical to include both preventive and corrective maintenance tasks
• Report and communicate on a daily basis all work activity via computer devices or paperwork
• Assess and diagnose required repairs, both for estimated cost and vendor responsibility – escalation requirements and vendor responsibility are dictated by each client and may differ
• Procure all material in a timely manner to meet client service level agreements for scheduled completion dates
• Possess competent knowledge of the use and care of tools and equipment used in facility maintenance
• Respond immediately to emergency situations and customer concerns
• Perform all work to industry standards and maintain a professional manner and appearance at all times
• Comply with all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agency and Company directives as related to building operations and practice safe work habits
• Supervise and direct Mobile Engineers in cooperation with the Engineering Services platform resources as applicable. Including hiring, training, personnel development, etc.
• Make routine inspections of assigned portfolio with Mobile Engineers and report to management any deficiencies. Develop plan of action for correction.
• Support life safety programs and procedures, enforcement of EPA and OSHA compliance
• Oversee all building systems, including fire/life safety, plumbing, HVAC and electrical issues, Must stay current with latest HVAC technology trends, provide HVAC system recommendations; provide general quality control on maintenance and new equipment installation/commissioning and respond to operational and emergency situations and customer concerns.
• Comply with all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agency and Company directives as related to building operations and safe work practices.
• Perform all work to industry standards and maintain a professional manner and appearance at all times.
• Management duties also include: employee selection, appraisals, and recognition; recommending salary, promotional, disciplinary, termination, and other personnel actions.
• Provide for training and career development opportunities pursuant to expanding the capabilities of the Mobile engineering team in the areas of: personal safety; mechanical, electrical, and Fire/life safety systems operational proficiency; computer and documentation skills, etc.
• Performs additional job duties as assigned.
Position Requirements:
High School diploma or GED equivalent, with two years of trades schooling in electrical system design, refrigeration and HVAC.

At least three years experience as a commercial building maintenance engineer

Certification as a Universal Technician for CFC’s (or within 90 days of employment)

Working knowledge of computer applications including Word and Excel.

Demonstrated verbal/written communication skills.

Proven record of excellent internal and external customer service.

Valid Drivers License
