Position Description:

This position will provide assistance with real estate development and acquisitions transactions. They will analyze real estate deals to determine their financial structure, taking into account such things as interest rates, bond ratings, leases, net present values, etc.
Position Duties:

• Assist team members with evaluating and underwriting potential developments and acquisitions.
• Perform complex financial analyses, including Argus valuation models and Excel-based underwriting pro formas, cash flow projections, and sensitivity analyses.
• Assist with managing the due diligence process, including the review and analysis of leases, operating information, legal documentation, and other investment-related materials.
• Gather and evaluate economic and real estate market data.
• Assist with the preparation and presentation of investment memoranda to the firm’s Operating Committee.
• Responsible for monthly and quarterly reporting to be presented to the client.
• Responsible for analysis and reporting of transaction and planning data from various perspectives.
• Act as a liaison to the client’s real estate management team.
• Research and analyze account performance and prepare financial trend reporting including benchmarking and spend analyses.
• Assist management with annual budgeting process.
• Complete special projects as requested by the client.
• Handles other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements:

• Strong financial and analytical skills with problem solving ability
• A solid understanding of real estate transactions and processes
• Bachelors degree in real estate, finance, economics or related field required; Master’s Degree preferred
• CCIM designation preferred
• Minimum of 8 years’ experience in commercial real estate/transaction industry required
• Excellent MS Excel skills required; ARGUS skills preferred
• Strong financial and analytical ability with solid organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
• Knowledge of basic business practices
• Strong communication skills
• Must maintain the highest level of professionalism and confidentiality
• Record of excellent internal and external customer service


• Responsible for the management and overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the real estate analysis team. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws including interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
