Position Description:
SUMMARY
Serves as the company Learning Management System (LMS) Administrator and handle training-related responsibilities as needed.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

LEARNING MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (LMS) – LINCOLN HARRIS LEARNING CENTER (LHLC):
Support, design, develop, implement, deliver, and maintain LMS resources

Administer the current LMS including notifications, reporting, etc.

Lead LHLC Steering Committee

Liaison with LMS vendor

Verify all records in learning system

Answer questions and troubleshoot problems for users and account administrators

Give approval for training-related requests

Optimize system uses and train others on using it, disseminate information to staff, including upgrades, new features, etc.

Help with specific account-related training requests

Add certifications to system to illustrate completed employee training

Develops trainings using Captivate; train others on Captivate and answer related questions

Verify environmental and other compliance training

Create user guides when necessary

Create training libraries to be used by specific areas (example: Engineering Training Library)

Run ILT (Instructor-Led Training) when necessary or train others to run

Manage courses and course offerings

Train account administrators in setting up new users, etc.

Work with IT to manage and provide support for LMS expansion projects (what we need is for someone to drive the project along)

Run related reports when requested

Support the Human Resources Department with a variety of tasks as needed

TRAINING:
Creates and manages education reimbursement programs where applicable

Leads organization in determining best employee certifications for employees in different job types

Creates and leads training where required

With SVP HR, helps determine training philosophy and path for company

Perform other duties as assigned
Position Requirements:
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university with three years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Experience with Learning Management Systems required

Expert user of Captivate

Two years of HR Generalist experience, including union experience, preferred

Intermediate level Microsoft Word and Excel skills

Professional verbal and written communication as well as interpersonal skills

Ability to prioritize multiple projects and tasks while insuring all customer groups receive timely attention; strong time management skills

Strong team player with the ability to function autonomously when necessary

Analytical, organized, and detail oriented
